Acampora Interiors is looking for a part-time/hourly Studio Support Assistant with excellent organization and communication skills to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be polished and professional with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, s/he will be a natural problem-solver, undaunted by issues that arise, and able to clearly communicate those issues to the team while pivoting to find solutions.
Responsibilities
Project Assistance
- Communicate with team members regarding weekly needs to help create project plans and monthly goal setting
- Act as a runner for all sample pickup and returns; includes but is not limited to sample drop-offs to client homes for homework and virtual meetings
- Meet with vendors for small on-site tasks and align with clean-up/organization crews
- Help to organize and maintain the firm’s design library and accessories (includes logging items into inventory and storing)
- Assist in shipping client sample packages and/or dropping them off at client’s houses
- Support team in installation as needed as well as the take-down of client holiday decorations
Office Management
- Oversight of general office maintenance tasks including:
- Ordering supplies
- Watering plants
- Stocking fridge and cleaning out at end of week
- Receiving and distributing mail and packages (breakdown of boxes as necessary)
- Keeping the office organized and tidy at all times
- Support with client meetings prep (i.e. food ordering, etc.)
- Lead setup and breakdown of all internal events
- Manage client holiday gift distribution; including sourcing and coordinating with charities
- Weekly catering order
- Watch over the office during summer months when the team has the option to work remotely
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a team player with:
- Past work experience as an Office Manager, Project Assistant, or similar role
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with professional polish
- Discretion and ability to safeguard confidential information
- Adept at multitasking and problem-solving
- Warm, positive, can-do attitude
- Interest in interior design
